The motorized spindle: maximum adaptability to each specific machining operation

The versatility of Drillmatic by Euroma Group motorized spindles allows each designer to identify the most specific product for his or her needs.

Available in five different sizes, Drillmatic machining spindles are designed to carry out drilling, threading, milling, cutting, trimming and much more.

The right configuration for every process

Motor, rotation speed, type of bearings, toolholder, coolant: these are just some of the features that can be selected from the catalog to obtain maximum precision, rigidity and working speed.
And where the catalog does not reach, experience comes: over fifty years of applications on special machines allow us to competently respond to the most stringent needs.

Nearly 900 standard configurations for a single spindle

The combination of all the possible standard configurations allows the designer to move in complete freedom, download the drawing of the selected component and insert it into his project.
But that’s not all: in addition to the configuration that determines the performance characteristics, there is also the dimensional one.
The positions of the transmission housing and of the motor, often decisive for the design of the complete machinery, can be modified in relation to the available spaces, all while remaining in a standardized environment.

An important detail: the tool change

In addition to the traditional version, with manual attachment for ISO or HSK cones, it is also possible to equip each spindle with an automatic sensorized tool changer, either pneumatic or hydraulic, thus transforming a monofunctional unit into a small machining center.
Thanks to the six inductive sensors, the tool change system can be managed by an anthropomorphic robot, cobot, Cartesian axis, or any other automated system.

The feed

Each Drillmatic spindle by Euroma Group is correlated to a feed axis with guides and recirculating ball or roller slides, and moved by a recirculating ball screw and brushless motor.
